, , ,

suppose, transpose,
a crucifix transfixed,
what was once before
now null and nixed.

this, the truth:
thus, unworthy
this my symbol
for subserving.

before me, take
all that i’ve loved
spit your curses,
bring your disgust.

and nail it with me,
pointing downward,
all i could be on my own
is a coward.

but this be sure,
i am in opposition,
my life i pledge in
pieces, contrition.

i defy this age
of the God-subverted,
and amongst these live
a life inverted.

and i too am unworthy.
